Service Center
In our service center we are equipped to refurbish any make of plate heat exchanger. Our service program ensures the highest quality available in the industry.
The service comprises of the following processes: Receiving plates in stores; allocation of unique job number, which will accompany the plates throughout the service process; initially wash to remove loose dirt and scale; submerging plates in caustic solution to loosening the glued gaskets of plates and any calcium based scale; rinse with high pressure cleaner, submerged in acid solution to remove remaining scale and dirt; rinse with high pressure washer; check for distortion on plates due to over-tightening, dye penetrant inspection for pinholes, on qualified plates new gaskets are installed and if gaskets are of the glued type the plate pack with new gaskets is oven cured.
- The refurbished plates are packed and sent back to the customer accompanied by a detailed report with photos and findings.

- High pressure washing of transfer surfaces.
- Chemical cleaning of the transfer surfaces.
- Channel groove inspection for distortion.
- Ultra Violet dye penetrant testing for compromise (pin-hole detection)
- Steam cleaning of transfer surfaces
- Installation of new date stamped gaskets.
- Two part epoxy cementing
- Oven curing of gaskets to plates to maximize the bonding process.
